I think living like we are facing an expiring time limit to our collective existence has caused us to follow a path upon which our permanence is, in fact, now, time limited; whereas, naturally, even with progress by curiosity and a desire to serve, rather than greed, this would be less likely.

Our system is impossibly broken. The ONLY possibility is to FIX IT FROM THE GROUND UP. This is a huge issue that affect all of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness (except the sociopathic giddiness of insurance profiteers bathing in blood money)
The facts are, the ACA saved millions with pre-existing conditions and set standards for care.
But now, more than a decade later, with what we now know, it’s time to take the insurance companies out of the mix.
The subsidies they get are enormous. We don’t need them as middlemen.
