Every news story about laws being proposed against trans people, or trans bans, or otherwise criminalizing or attempting to erase trans people, needs to include the fact that none of these propositions are based in statistics or facts or genuine threats from trans folks. It’s all bullshit.

Remember in high school? The people that wanted to be student body president? There was the nerdy, smart person, the popular person who is an idiot, and the person who’s power hungry. They were all assholes. Same rules apply.
