Blue lagoon is expensive but man it was worth it. After 8 days of running around the country and constantly walking, hiking, driving, and drinking it was very much needed.

Day 7 we didn’t do a whole lot. Mostly drove back to the city for food and shopping. We did go to our favorite local bar and likely drink way too much. I recommend the fermented shark ;)

Eating fermented shark with a shot of Brennivin (also known as Iceland’s Black Death). The shark smelled like feet and ammonia and the shot was the bad part. 😌😅

Day 6 was a busy one. We went down to the ocean and tripped around some rocks before heading over to a lava cave tour (which was scary and cool) before finishing off on the cliffs right next to our airbnb. Heading back to Reykjavik tomorrow for two more days before heading home.
