Cheers! Just learned that one of my favorite pieces has been accepted to a literary journal. I’m so glad it’s found a home! #flashfiction #writing

Yee’s debut book was lovely, thought-provoking, meandering in all the right ways, and a master class in interiority. Loved every second of it. Placing it on my five-star, best reads of 2025. @emergencychampagne.bsky.social #bookreview #fivestars

One Golden Summer – spicy and tear-jerking (5⭐)
My Friends – OMG, how have I not read Backman yet? (5⭐)
Atmosphere – Loved the history and science, may or may not have cried at the end (4⭐)

Found a Poe’s Tavern in Charleston, and it doesn’t have near the goth vibes I had in high school. 💀 #edgarallenpoe #literaryroadtrip

After a driven young architect uses an AI-powered dating app to identify her true love, she instead falls for a skeptical computational biologist, forcing her to decide between love's unpredictable chemistry or data-driven matchmaking. #querying

That library, renamed Richard Wright Library, is now shuttered and falling apart. And with IMLS under threat, more libraries could face the same end.

Katherine Center is someone I love to read when the world is ending (perfect timing, Katherine).

Thrilled to get an eARC of her latest, The Love Haters. It's fun, cozy, a little unbelievable (in a good way), & made me snort a few times.

Favorite book(s) of the year so far?

We're almost a quarter through 2025, and I've read 13 books. Only two have really hit me, though. Martyr! and a science fiction beta book that I can't wait to see out in the wild.

Was not prepared to love Martyr! as much as I have. I’m finding myself reading the last quarter slowly because I don’t want it to end.
