I rarely have to deal with JavaScript and that allows me to be shocked over and over that is has no real date type, only datetime, and its datetime is named Date.
`new Date('2025-08-14')` is in the past! That's today, but JS says it's a single second!

Update, my neighbors are lovely and fun, I have tons of tomatoes growing in the garden. I feel like a human being again.
I am lonely. Isolated and alienated. Packing my stuff to move. Weighed down by memories. Thinking about who would want any of this stuff when I'm gone. Simultaneously meaningful and meaningless.

I once went into a newly-opened record shop and the owner was mid-conversation with a customer. The customer was saying "you're full of shit, there's no way you're friends with The Beatles" and he left. The man turned to me and opened a photo book. There was a photo of him with John and Yoko.

My take is that we should eliminate all automobiles from all public spaces and turn all of the roads into parks, gardens, and squares.

It's my grandmother's birthday and I miss her. She taught me how to taste. When I was very young, I told her I didn't like green beans. What she knew and I didn't was I'd never had anything except green beans from a can. She had beautiful green beans ready to pick growing in her garden.

My grandparents. They were completely in love from high school until they died in their 80s. My niece looks just like her.
