Sadly, I don't know that they have the wisdom and foresight to do that. The baseball gods would certainly reward the Dodgers even MORE than they already have if they did so, too. I'm sure of it...😔

The way our medical system utilizes doctors is basically the equivalent of the Dodgers having Shohei Ohtani sit out every other game so he can work as a hot dog vendor

Shohei is a more valuable offensive player alone....more power and more speed. Let alone a Cy Young contender when healthy. Soto is a great player, likely HOFer, but not the same unique value only Shohei could bring.
