This is low, really freaking low. It takes a huge amount of effort to dial in a tone and knowing the types of pedals Fu Manchu use, it may be irreplaceable. So a hearty get fucked goes out to this guy.

selling three-quarters of the records we used to sell, twice the amount of promo, and finding it doubly hard to sell the same number of tickets for a gig – those are the things which turn our tiny margin of sustainability into catastrophic financial doom.

Damnit. Erik Wunder, co founder and musician of Cobalt has died.

If this is in fact an "artists provocation" then I'd expect the owners to come clean and admit who they are and remove it from Spotify. Until then it's just a cash grab.

Trying to de-Amazon a bit. Trialing Deezer and so far so good.

For the record I'd never go to Spotify. Way too many reasons to avoid.

On this masterpiece this morning. Beautiful bassy smooth tone. Garcia's vocals are front and centre.

Classic audio trip.

Does it hell!

I believe it's massively devalued it.

New music is more difficult than ever to find and what would have been an exceptional album never gets "discovered" due to the bias of the algorithms towards big acts.
Spotify says that streaming has made the world ‘value music’
It’s yet again loudly announcing about how much it’s paid into the industry.
