Was there a single time that Pelosi went on TV and slipped in a “gotta hand it to him” about a GOP leader?

Jeffries needs lessons, out he needs to step down.

If Trump gathered up all of the children of Senate Republicans to be gang raped, the GOP Senators wouldn’t speak up, much less push back.

Any expectation to find a backbone in invertebrates is foolish.

Hey, what’s the climate like on your planet?

Alonso's hitting would be very hard to replace, and maybe he's the 2nd defensive liability the Mets can afford (since Soto is anchored in). But that means Baty and Vientos should be fighting for a DH spot, and Nimmo and McNeil need to find a way to get better.

Or this team is going nowhere. Again.

(And don't get me started on the Mets pitching staff. Watching a Marlin score from SECOND BASE ON A WILD PITCH because Holmes couldn't move his ass 60 feet to the plate capped off a horrific defensive year from a rotation that obviously considers practicing defense beneath them.)

Because the Mets aren't even counting "weak" fielders -- they have to count their few GOOD fielders. Lindor and Alvarez are fielders any team would be happy with, but otherwise... the good fielders are all guys that don't play much. Taylor, Acuña, Torrens are great defenders but don't play much.

The Mets, though, have these compromises all over the field, in a league that gives them a DH to hide their worst fielder! I can't think of any MLB team in history that has threatened to win a championship with that many defensive liabilities.

Every other guy playing for the Dodgers (except arguably Teoscar Hernandez) fields very well. But, Max stands out as a Dodger, and he's a way better fielder than Vientos, or Baty, or (dear god) Alonso).

The Dodgers decided this one guy's hitting justifies a weak point in their defense. One.

My wife is a Dodgers fan, so I see a lot of their games. In Max Muncie, the Dodgers have a guy on 3rd who hits like crazy but is a mediocre fielder. And he STANDS OUT on that team. He's the 1 guy on the field that their fans clench their teeth when the ball is hit his way.

Management has to take a hard look at this no-heart, anti-clutch roster, and make some brutal decisions. The Mets need a Jose Iglesias kind of leader to provide some spirit, and they need to field a team that doesn't have 4 (or more) defensive liabilities.

Baty lost at least 2, and arguably 4 games with terrible plays in late innings. He's talented, and in early innings he's a solid fielder and a strong hitter.

But when the pressure's on, he makes the wrong plays on defense and swings at pitches more than a foot outside the zone.

Every team has a guy on the roster who is weak in defense, but you keep him on the field for his bat.

The Mets have Alonso, Vientos, Baty, and Soto who are absolute liabilities in the field, McNeil and Nimmo who are sure handed but with very limited range.

Weak fielding loses too many close games.

This is pathetic.
