What is it about being by myself for more than an hour, and having nothing to do in that time, that makes me start hating myself?? I just immediately start thinking I’m unlovable and boring and all the bad things that are NOT at all true.

I usually have at least three going plus an audio book as a backup if I don’t have one with me lol
Does anyone else do this thing where you can only read one book at a time or do you have several going at once? 💙📚

Confession: My books get a little beat up.
Don’t get me wrong, I take care of them! But they’re not preserved or anything. I crack a spine if I have to, I fold corners. I fold the bottom corner of pages I like. I WRITE in my classics. I travel with a book or two in my bag at all times.
