The Green and Independent Group of councillors have welcomed plans by Devon County Council to remove flags from public property when they have been put up illegally.
Flags should create a sense of community, not division.

Following recent ‘freedom of speech’ rallies, protests and the increase of anti-migrant rhetoric, together with protests outside hotels in Devon housing people seeking asylum, Exeter Green Party has issued a statement of solidarity with those seeking asylum.

The Labour-led council hands building back to Northbrook Community Trust, drained of water.
The council have run down, then dumped, this important community asset back on the Trust.
They gave them just 28 days to find a community-led solution, pulling the plug on any community efforts to save it.
