Now i definitely gotta watch the original 1973 film adaptation of this story by Frederick Forsyth. This certainly might be the best film to series adaptation since Friday Night Lights. Can someone really top this if they make a season 2?

There is a homely feeling to the storytelling of Taylor Sheridan, which is conservative in political terms but he deeply roots in classical characters. They are a cool breather from all the poor storytelling choices happening because of the identity politics in mainstream media.
