As a kid who grew up playing FF7 (it came out when I was 11) seeing those characters in Kingdom Hearts was so weirdly great in 2002. I also appreciate in 2024 that there are essentially 3-4 avenues for folks to be introduced to the FF7 cast - easily one of the best casts (if not THE best) in RPGs.
