THE ACCOUNTABILITY ARCHIVE A HOW TO GUIDE FOR THE DIGITAL ARCHIVING OF SUPPORT FOR GENOCIDE WHY CREATE A DIGITAL ARCHIVE? All across the globe, people are feeling helpless and despondent as they watch the daily atrocities being carried out against the Palestinian people. While public support for a ceasefire soars, politicians, journalists, and public figures continue to support and provide cover for the ethnic cleansing. As with the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan before, when the full scale of the horror is revealed, they will try to distance themselves from their current words. It is vitally important we archive posts, articles, and statements promoting genicide for posterity to hold them all to account. The Accountability Archive has created a simple form to empower ordinary individuals help document the complicity of their leaders from the comfort of their own homes. WHAT EVIDENCE ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Journalistic malfeasance in the form of misleading or false reporting. • Support for collective punishment or other war crimes. • Encouragement for Israel to use excessive force/to harm civilians. • Castigation of Palestinians/protestors as terrorist sympathisers • Defamation of those supporting the Palestinian people and/or a ceasefire. • Arguments for forced displacement of the Palestinian people into Egypt • Deeming civilian infrastructure a legitimate target NOTE: We are NOT looking for evidence of war crimes themselves. HOW TO ARCHIVE EVIDENCE. 1 Document: When you have identified evidence you think fits the above, take note of who said it, where it was said, what was the context, and what date it was posted or said. Take note of bylines, media outlets, and platforms. 2 Save: Take screenshots of the whole page or download video evidence. If applicable, copy the link to the post, statement, or article into a webpage capture site like archive.today and save this link. If you can save all of this on a physical and/or cloud backup. 3 Archive: Access the Accountability Archive's form through the link in our bio and submit all the evidence you have collected. Be accurate, factual, concise, and non-emotive when archiving. Your personal details will not be published in the data set. HOW WILL THE ARCHIVE BE USED? Once we have been able to secure, anonymise, back up the data set, we will work to make it publicly available. Our aim is for it to be used by future historians, journalists, and researchers in understanding the current ethnic cleansing, as well as how those in positions of power played a role. Rainbow Community Angels WILL NOT BE CANCELLED! We stand resolute in the face of the awful extreme homophobic, biphobic and transphobic hate and vilification experience by the library staff, council workers and the performer over the past three weeks. Join us at 11am tomorrow outside the library for a POP UP RAINBOW STORYTIME plus more! We will be out, loud, proud and and visible - plus having heaps of fun with rainbows and bubbles! In solidarity, radical trust and queer joy Rainbow Community Angels We have made the difficult decision not to proceed with tomorrow's Rainbow Storytime at the Shepparton Library. We were looking forward to this event and understand that many families were also looking forward to it. This decision has not been taken lightly – the safety of our community is paramount. We have recently become aware of a planned protest, and in order to maintain our commitment to creating safe and inclusive events, we felt the wisest and most prudent course of action was to not proceed with the event in order for us to ensure the safety of our families.

ANTIFASCIST COUNTER PROTEST SMASH TRANSPHOBIA FIGHT FOR TRANS KIDS 11AM, Saturday 21st October, Old Treasury Building, 20 Spring St, East Melbourne Fascist and right-wing networks, who formed from denying the covid-19 pandemic, are organising a transphobic protest targeting trans and queer young people and defending the 'right' of parents to be bigots. One lead organiser, trained the Lad's society in martial arts, a forerunner to the nazi NSN. Young trans and queer lives are precarious and generally not supported despite some gains we've won. We need to stifle the far-right's recruitment drive and fight for liberation across struggles! Held on the stolen lands of the Wurundjeri people. The violent white cishet gender binary came with colonialism. Wear a mask for covid safety / anti-doxxing. Bring noisemakers. Do not film friends. Bring water / snacks.
