I would report this to HMRC as phishing if it were me… perhaps using security.custcon@hmrc.gov.uk. Taken from this page www.gov.uk/find-hmrc-co..., it’s not an exact match for the use case but I’m sure they’d like to know

Is it bad that I think they look better in that livery.

They work well but it’s not as slick as just supporting contactless. I had one journey where the barrier wouldn’t open for me despite consuming a ticket and the staff couldn’t/wouldn’t help.

I’m not sure you can quite view it as simplistically as that. The article is written by the child. It is their experiences looking back on the situation. I think the more important question is why parents feel this is the only option to protect their children.

It wouldn’t be me on here without a train though.

I wouldn’t dispute that but if I’m not mistaken there could be other options e.g Liverpool Street.

Wow I think is the word. That first image is spectacular.

I think LNER haven’t thought through the East Coast Digital closures very well. Hull Trains will run all the way to St Pancras. LNER will just dump you at Peterborough and expect you to get a coach to Bedford.

That looks so much lighter than the station is now. I don’t quite understand this pattern of building on top of and cluttering up our rail infrastructure.

I was one of them, got back to Darlington with a 122 min delay.

I think I’m finding it slow because they keep cutting between the 2 story arcs so neither feels like it’s going particularly quick.

I think I’ve done about 90% of mine now as long as you ignore my self reflection 😕

How does this sort of investment compare to Manchester when it was first getting going? I seem to remember that was the model Ben was going for?

I can’t say I’ve experienced that myself (I often travel southbound) but I can absolutely believe it happens.

Yes they do, it’s on the Dine menu for sure. You can view which menu is on each train from here: www.lner.co.uk/first-class-...

He discovered he had to do 1st Kata in the first round not Saifa as he had planned which threw him into a bit of a spin. What I loved was he was able to recover focus and pull off a 1st round that won him a unanimous decision! Sadly no medal this time for kata but I couldn’t be happier for him 2/2
