I would argue that the Death of Stalin is Britain’s greatest comedy and I don’t feel it gets the recognition it deserves. Simon Russell Beale as Lavrentiy Beria is genuinely terrifying, Jason Isaacs is a fantastic bombastic Zhukov, and Olga Kurylenko is spectacular as Maria Veniaminovna Yudina.

I don’t see this film getting the recognition it deserves as one of the all time great horror films. I know I am biased since a lot of it was shot near my dad’s hometown.
