I haven't been this excited about a new Ruby library for years. I don't think it's hyperbole to say this will revolutionize how Ruby apps are developed.

Working with others who constantly speak highly of LLMs, asking them a question feels like using an LLM by proxy — you can smell ChatGPT in the answer. I'd sooner (a) ask the LLM directly, or (b) find the solution myself.

I needed to create class diagrams. Usually I use the wonderful #draw.io, but this time I decided to code it. Before, I had used #plantuml and was happy with it, but this time I decided to use the newer #d2. I found it much weaker with fewer ways to customize and control it. Back to #plantuml.

The best way to learn a new language is to practice. The best case is when you solve a real problem. But often the scope is too big. In that situation, grab an idea here: codingchallenges.fyi/challenges/intro, github.com/florinpop17/app-ideas or more advanced codecrafters.io and hyperskill.org

I found another usage of #LLM. I like listening to fiction audiobooks, but sometimes want to listen to something useful. Books are too lengthy, podcasts might be irrelevant. #ChatGPT can generate a little audio course for your topic and then you can TTS it for free in #ElevenReader on iOS.
