I kind of made a mistake in that I subbed to a bunch of stuff on BlueSky that passes along information that is vital, but that I also cannot handle, mental health-wise, so I'm not on here much. But I'm part of the problem, too, because- goddamn. People like this vote. Maybe democracy isn't working.

Sticky spicy Korean BBQ flavored pork jowl! I think this is the best I've made so far! No way am I remembering the recipe, haha! I call it "Gary Oldman Pork" because the sauce involves "EEEEVREYTHIIIIING!" (I know, it's "everyone," but imagine it in the same voice.)

There is a Darkling Beetle in my bathtub. How goth! They are the adult form of the mealworm. Not good to have inside my home- they will get into our grain. Sad I don't have any big fish to complete the cycle of life.

Almost every single thing involved with this tank was used stuff from other tanks! This includes most of the substrate, some of the filter media, and all of the plants. It has ramshorn snails that volunteered. And yet, after a MONTH, it has not cycled! Whyyyyy
