I honestly didn’t know if I still had it in me to cook my family’s Polish food from scratch anymore. Fibromyalgia has a lot to say about my life now and how I live it. But today, I did. I made Golabki, and felt well enough to keep going and made Pierogi. My heart needed this.

I managed to pull together a pretty fantastic dinner for just the two of us. I also managed to focus on presence and a lot less on absence. Holidays are so hard, and the “firsts without multiple yous” suck. But I made it. Time to rest. ❤️
