This book was wonderful.

Trinity is so so much stronger. It’s a better story, spanning more time, more plot and less character (I feel Uris does better with plot as his interpersonal relationships — especially romances — can get a little flat).

One of my greatest moments of satisfaction in life is when I remember that I sent my kids to a school that used this book as the textbook in their American history class.

Woah. That’s definitely creepy! For me it was the notes at the end. It was the first time I read a “constant reader” 1st person direct address thing. And I swore it was written JUST TO ME. So the stories were captivating, and at the end, the author talked to me, directly. I loved it.
