Chlorlull and Shiinautic, convergent evolutions to the Pokemon Morelull and Shiinotic. They are Water/Electric types, and are based on ping pong sponges, their convergent counterparts, and the myth of the Eltanin Antenna.

Old reference image of my Pokémon OC, Goobert! They are an Alolan Muk/Shiinotic mix. They have Shiinotic‘s built, but their Mushroom is Muk sludge and so is their lower body! Beau with a few of their Pokémon! They are holding their shiny variant Hisuian Sneasel, Jinx in their arms, while Malachite, their shiny green Zubat is flying nearby, watching them with excitement. Goobert is next to them laughing mischievously, as Jinx doesn’t appear to be very pleased with the situation, which amuses Goobert. A comic about Beau and Goobert’s relationship and how Beau is trying to find a cure to help prevent Goobert’s acid from burning others, so that they can be physically affectionate with their friends again! Beau’s hand gets burned but they aren’t fazed by it and reassures Goobert that it’s all worth it for their glorious friendship, which makes Goobert very emotional in a positive way!

But I wanted to make a little scene of Beau and their first partner Pokémon, Goobert, since I came up with some lore for them!! 💜

Going more into details about it below:
A comic about my OC Pokémon trainer, Beau and their Pokémon, Goobert, The Alolan Muk/Shiinotic mix! In the first panel, Beau’s hands are shown close up with their right hand cramping up and shaking in pain while it rests in their left hand. Both their hands are covered in scars from acid burns, and there is a fresh burn in the middle of their right palm. The pain effects around the hand are amplified, and this is how Goobert sees it, rather than Beau. In the second panel, Goobert looks to them with worry and about to cry. In the third panel Beau calmly looks down to Goobert with a neutral expression and says “Oh, don’t be ridiculous, Goob. It will heal up soon enough, you’ll see.” In the next panel, Beau is in the same position, turning their head away. They are feeling sentimental, and a little chuckle escapes them as they look down at their hands with a soft smile. Quietly, and with tears welling up in their eyes, they recall all their fond memories together with their starter Pokémon. In the last panel, Beau is leaning down to face their friend, and they hold our their injured hand, showing Goobert that they aren’t afraid and that they don’t hold it against them that their acid hurt them. They tell Goobert: “These scars are proof of our glorious friendship! And I wouldn’t trade them for anything in the universe.” Goobert is crying happy tears and holding out their own hand in front of their trainer’s, but without touching them, bringing themselves as close to each other as they possibly can.
