a picture of my freshly made bed (got a duvet cover haha) featuring a giant crochet blanket at the foot of the bed and many, many plushies. here is the list: Anya from mouthwashing, stitch pillow pet, life size stitch, both sam and max from their titular series, moomin, smiley bone from bone, a whale i got at the zoo, bites a lot bat the snughoul, a devil build a bear in a suit, Dingle from itemlabel, a koala webkinz and multiple crane game toys (a pumpkin head guy, a heart print bear, and a puppy with a heart). off camera are like 20 other plush items hanging in a crocheted net over the bed. partially just posting because I have been like. really going through it the past 2 years and it's been uh. a year since I cleaned my bed actually. and im proud of myself for doing it finally :)

a screenshot of a forum post from 2015. the topic is "Rikki Don't Lose That Number: Lyrical Interpretations" for added context, in the top left corner you can see the Spotify (im using up the end of my subscription believe me it's canceled as of like. a week from now) bubble saying that the song Rikki Don't Lose That Number by Steely Dan is currently playing and that also it's 2:02 am. Anyway the text of the post reads: This song is sung from the p.o.v. of a gay man who has had a sexual experience with a straight man. The straight man, horrified at what he has done, wants nothing more to do with the singer and the song is the singer's gentle way of urging him not to cut off all communication channels because of what happened, leaving the way open for at least a platonic relationship. I'm not the only person who's interpreted the song this way, although Donald Fagen (understandably) prefers to leave things ambiguous. There are other interpretations, but I think the one I've given is the strongest. Unless you know better...? a reply to the previous forum post. note that the song playing now is Brian David Gilberts cover of Lay All Your Love On Me (in the styling of a vampire) anway. the forum post quotes the initial query and responds with: I agree, but I always thought the gay man was urging the other guy to try and accept himself and leave himself open to the idea of a sexual relationship.

making my mom a sweater today
my setup for machine knitting. im using a bond ultimate sweater machine (I primarily use worsted weight yarn and I don't have the room for a fingering weight machine so. it works its only a little jank). hanging from the machine is most of the front piece of a sweater, knit using lion brand Heartland yarn in the color "Dry Tortugas" . there are weight clips on the yarn, placed there to ensure even tension the longer the piece gets. im about to start neckline shaping wish me luck

a comic of a day i had at my job, drawn in grayscale over 10 panels. panel 1: i stand in the kitchen area, looking blankly at a schedule board panel 2: i lean my head against the wall (as i am prone to do) and close my eyes. the text reads "experiencing the horrors" with a spiral arrow pointing to me panel 3: pov shot of my looking at me feet, popcorn scattered on the ground panel 4: the same show as previous, but with a text bubble from an offscreen character. they call out "Hey Boss!" panel 5: i turn my head in the direction of the viewer and open one eye, my head still leaning against the wall, i vocalize a "mm?" in response panel 6: we see who was talking earlier, one of my newer crew members, shes insanely peppy and known for literally skipping around the building. she hold a phone out to me and loudly proclaims "I wrote us a song about work- wanna hear?" panel 7: i stare at her for a second, taking it in, the text only reads "..." panel 8: realization hits, and i smile and reply "holy shit yes???" panel 9: this one is twice as wide as the other panels, as the crew member is now dancing and rapping. text above her reads "rapping about popcorn" i look on wistfully, text that indicates my thoughts reads "aw, the kid is so hype for her first job..." panel 10: this is a matching wide panel, with another frame of my crew member dancing wildly. the text above her reads "rapping about selling tickets". i am still watching, but now more surprised, as the text of my thoughts now reads "oh shit this rocks actually". dear reader, it did in fact rock she put a lot of effort into it and her and some other crew members are making a music video for it and truly i cannot wait.

no big drawings tonight only doodles
a drawing of my oc lucky. im still trying to nail down his design. the drawing is repeated, with the second version having quick and ugly shading. he has droopy hair and a matching listless expression. he wears a dress shirt with a sweater vest on top, and poorly drawn bellbottoms. he holds his hands loosely behind his back and does not look at the camera directly. starscream. he sits across the table from you, a cup of boba tea in front of him. he has a hand on the table and the other holds up his resting chin. the only color in the image is his red eyes. listen. i finally got a starscream in one of my mystery boxes. i had to draw him. drawings of my cat, bowie. the first two are a comparison of his size. in the first, he is a tiny kitten, loafing in a cat bed. he is so small he barely takes up space in it. in the second, he takes up so much room in the same bed, he overflows. hes laying down on his back with his paws in the air, balls out. the third, he has like. a man-like face. he is hanging out in the bed again, stretching his paws out in front of himself. these are all very loose drawings, and are drawn from life (his bed is behind me right now) drawings of my other cat, stella. the first, she is gangly and angry, with big eyes. in the second, she is climbing all over me, as she tends to do at approximately 6am. she has big blue eyes and stares down at me. the perspective is loosely set above my head. im trying to bat her away, but she stands strong. she Will yell at me.

ok so im not totally set on kathleen's name because i was like "ill just call her kitty" but like. bad guys 2. thief named kitty. ill think of something else later but for now shes just going to be called kitty as she in her supervillain form and i want to differentiate that from her civilian identity. anyway, image id following: 3 characters walk from right to left across the screen. leading the pack is super thief kitty, talking up a storm (implied with various empty speech bubbles, there is no text in this image) to the character following her. she is in full costume, with a mask, hair buns that look like cat ears, and a fake tail. the character following her in question is Body Double. he is the chief henchman for their organization, and can create temporary doubles of himself. in fact he is doing it in this image, creating 2 doubles of himself to help carry kitty's loot. they are differentiated from each other by the numbers on their shirts, the original being 01, the second being 02. the third is behind them and we cannot see his shirt. he is a large bearded man, and towers over kitty and the other character present. he is wearing a big trenchcoat and carrying a bag. the third character follows behind them, struggling to keep up as he rushes after them with the coffee for the meeting. he has no standout outfit details, longsleeve shirt and regular pants. he is not a villain, and is only technically a henchman, as he is the law-firms secretary. everyone calls him lucky, because his power is luck. not like good luck or bad luck, but just really strong luck, good and bad, that he cannot really control. he is absolutely going to trip and drop all of this coffee.

#paranatural is a very serious comic with Themes but also its max puckett dealing with team boycrush before school even starts
was it believable when i called paranatural "serious" when it has isaac "my mom sailormoon and my dad goku" o'connor in it. i love it. anyway, the image is a messy mspaint drawing of isaac, max, and johnny from the webcomic paranatural. based on recent pages, isaac is asking about guys kissing. johnny is thinking about guys because max called him hot accidentally on purpose it makes sense in context believe me. Max has to endure this even though it is "7 in the morning am". Side note: max is too hard to draw he has like. anti drawing forcefield around him. and my chair broke while drawing johnny so hes just going to have to look like that.
