That's ducking crazy, bro! Hehehe. Happy New Year, by the way. :)

I had to force myself to get over that, so I started taking random pictures and putting them on my lock screen. Currently, I think it's a shot of a little card that details the 45th Hexagram of the I-Ching.... Huh. I'm probably due to update that.

I guess I kinda think of everyone who posts YouTube content as a YouTuber.... But for you, we can try other titles! YouTubist? Pikatuber?

I'm only commenting because clicking the little heart doesn't articulate the full extent of my enthusiastic agreement. I should watch that again soon....

Perhaps a refreshing herbal tea?

How sure are we that the negative feedback isn't just trolling? I've always found your instructional videos to be very helpful, even if my execution leaves something to be desired.
I think it's also fair to say that not all teaching styles will "click" with all students, that could be a factor.

Two things I haven't experienced in so long that I can only assume you must be correct.

Yep, even a mean comment means someone bothered to take the time to respond, thus indicating that you're doing something right.

As someone who devoutly believes that maturity is simply the art of no longer feeling the need to censor one's immature impulses, I reckon you underestimate yourself. ;)

Oh, I didn't mean to imply you couldn't, I was just thinking of that video where you taught him to draw and he turned perspective into an equation. heh. Awesome. Anyway, just thought a raffle could provide more context if sorting out pricing is your primary issue! Have a great day.

Well, they can be, though I think that's technically a different word.... I could be mistaken, I'm still drinking my coffee... not important! But even if you went that route, it would still provide data on broader interest, and the reach of your community's word-of-mouth. Your hubby maths, right?

It will give you figures for how much of the expressed interest people are willing to back up with money, for one. Also, total revenue from ticket sales will paint a (likely inflated, depending on advertising, but still workable) picture of a value per hour worked on the piece.

That's a great idea, imo. It will give a lot of good data to consider for future pricing options.

Here's a recommendation out of left field; look up some of the work of Sergio Aragones. He is regarded by many in the western comics industry as the quickest artist ever, about whom Mad Magazine once said "he would have drawn the whole issue if we let him." His work could lend some insights.

.... you know, I reckon darkening the lines between the arms and body a bit might fix it right up. Make the contours sympathize the with outlining? Just a thought, I could be way off base.

Oh, that warm sweater feeling. Nothing like it!

On the flip side, I see little but love and support over here. Vonnegut once described harsh critics as folk who dress in full plate armor with the intent of attacking an ice cream sundae.... true or not, the mental image makes me laugh when people are being nasty.

In that case, I would like to declare today international Monster Hunter day. It's now an official holiday, best observed by turning off your brain and playing video games instead. Enjoy!

Who needs monsters when you have.... Cyborg Bikini Witches! Coming soon to a web comic near you.

Definitely would not recommend! But, if you're doing it for science, I would suggest a few dedicated "doodle" days. Where you're drawing, but you're not practicing or studying or trying to accomplish anything at all.... like a bored high schooler with an empty notebook, just make yourself laugh.
