On Saturday I portioned out the chicken legs and vacuum sealed them with the 5$ food saver I thrifted, cooked a whole mess of them in the Instant Pot and picked the meat and portioned that out for easy weeknight meals, and made a chicken noodle soup for a sick friend.

New grocery/restaurant supply store just opened 15 minutes from me, and they have 40lbs of chicken drumsticks for 17 dollars, and I could weep with joy. I'm going to make a giant pot of chicken noodle soup for my neighbor.

A few years ago I painted a stylized version of the 3 girls in my Group Chat on my bathroom wall, and it's so weird, and makes me so happy every single time I see it. I'm not a painter, and I had to re-do each figure multiple times, but I just love it.

My very good leftover beans turned my normal extremely easy soup into an extremely easy and spectacularly delicious soup.
(pulled rotisserie chicken, onion, green chili, salsa tomatoes, brothy beans, cumin, oregano, garlic, serrano, and corn -- assembled in 8 minutes)

I made the best beans of my LIFE in ONE HOUR.
The beans were not pre-soaked, they were OLD and CHEAP. A perfect combo for tough beans.
