Same energy

The European way of living has to be objectively prosperous, objectively superior, objectively successful, even on continents where it had never before existed and had no means of sustaining itself.

Akin to the "Mighty Whitey" TV Tropes entry. "I am better at your way of life than you are."

We remember those taken from us by violence, by our own hands, or the hands of those who are supposed to love and protect us. And we fight like hell in their memory, knowing that next year, our own names could be on that list.
