naming all kinds of stuff in AWS has to be the most annoying thing. How do people deal. Is the answer terraform or cloudformation?

I thought avatar 2 might be a brain-off watch but it may end up being a hate watch instead lol. It looks terrible and soo cringe. How did this do well?

I wonder why OSs need to go all the way to the BIOS/UEFI whenever they need a reboot for updates. Could they not free all memory and re-load their own kernel? Or is that simply too hard

The HTTP QUERY Method
This specification defines the QUERY method for HTTP. A QUERY requests that the request target process the enclosed content in a safe and idempotent manner and then respond with the result of that processing. This is similar to POST requests but can be automatically repeated or restarted without concern for partial state changes.

The diplomat is a fun show but it's competence porn, and the illusion that the white house might be filled to the brim with competence is so shattered that the show just feels a bit self-serious and silly.
