Super strong year. Buzzed for VL. What couldve been "difficult second album" syndrome instead broke through as a wildly funny and hugely sensitive work fuelled by the dogged determination of @kieranhurley.bsky.social & Gary to honor these wee guys & hone a thing of razor sharpness. Good work troops.

Resource in small spaces has such impact. I adored the sand strewn Californian dream house Alisa Kalyanova + Benny Goodman created in our Changing House production of The Mistress Contract. I used to love weaving through the sets of Citz Circle Studio to get to your seats back in the day. Immersion.

I'm going to miss Studio3 cuz, yanno, the girl's in Aberdeen now, but how delicious to see something so clean, polished and thoughtful design wise in the Changing House. Love it.

Fellas, I cannot over-enthuse about how great it is to finish work and be on the endless beach within minutes. Towering waves, dolphins and surfers, plunging gannets, a scattering of oystercatchers. And still in a city! What were we all doing in the central belt? Everybody come to Aberdeen.
