My lesson from this week is that good enough is good enough. I don't need the most expensive apartments or the most expensive hair styles. If I can just appreciate the fact that those things are even a possibility for me now then that's good enough ♥️

As someone who has a few "-ist- doctors (rheumatolog-ist, cardiolog-ist, opthalmolog-ist etc), I can't imagine one of them doing this. I shouldn't have to feel lucky to be their patient.

I really wanted to show off this graph from the Hevy app after doing all my bodyweight workouts for the week. Unfortunately, I've come down sick with swollen lymph nodes and I'm taking time off to recover. I'm surprised at the emphasis on legs though!

I really wanted to show off this graph from the Hevy app after doing all my bodyweight workouts for the week. Unfortunately, I've come down sick with swollen lymph nodes and I'm taking time off to recover. I'm surprised at the emphasis on legs though!

Advice that I often see come up is to drink water immediately after you wake up to reinforce a sleep routine. IMO, the best thing to do is to go to sleep and wake up at the same time every day without fail. That and quickly get some sun after waking.
Or maybe it's being in my 30s that helps most 😂

I just realized that I adapt myself when in new social situations but revert to utterly relaxed around the people I'm most familiar with. The problem is my parents are getting older. I need to remember to speak slowly and clearly for them too. It's important to appreciate my time with them.

I never actually thought about how my likes are affecting the experience of the platform. I probably still won't like 100 posts per day though -- that would take me more than a few minutes if I'm being genuine
If we all find 100 posts to like every day, engagement and good will on @bsky.app grows exponentially.

I was using The Pump but it took me about half an hour just to do the mini-workout that is their suggested warm-up. Currently looking at Boostcamp #gymsky

So excited at this difference in my health / fitness calendar (red entries). It's not quite back to where it was before my patella dislocation but it's looking pretty good! I'm aiming to give myself a more balanced life so I might never spend as much time pole dancing as I did #fitsky

I found this accountability feed and thought it's a great idea. I dislocated my patella on Oct 1 and am determined to at least finish the Pi E-ink display project that I started while in the most acute stage. Be my bskybuddy! I aim to spend at least two hours per week on this project.
