It’s critically important to have a human who at least marginally understands a topic writing prompts for AI tools in order to weed out the possible bias or just bogus information an AI model can often respond with.

In 2023, Black, Hispanic, & American Indian and Alaska Native children were 3x more likely to fall below the poverty line. Realizing Dr. King’s dream requires recognizing that the brunt of economic disparities falls largely on children of color, and Black children in particular.

The minimum wage just went up in 21 states, increasing the pay of 9.2 million workers by a total of $5.7 billion, according to @epi.org.

The federal minimum wage continues to sit at $7.25 as it has since 2009.

-VW and Amazon workers won big union elections

-Red states raised the min wage and approved paid leave via ballot measure

-The Kroger-Albertsons merger, which would have raised grocery prices, was blocked
