Kelsey Spinnato shows us, how sometimes one's love for farming games can lead to a scientific paper about Genesis reception in video games. In this case we were talking about the game "Harvestella". #aarsbl25

Emily Rock asks "what's in a meme?" And shows us through a case study with a meme that theologizes on the book of Job. One of the results: (many) people do have their understanding of a theology of suffering. #aarsbl25

Solène Feller took us into the apocalyptic world of the game "Silent Hill" and how it uses biblical apocalyptical quotes quite frequently. #aarsbl25

Abigail Thompson starts us off with a very engaging presentation on how the Gen Z meme culture and the book of Ecclesiastes go together in their lamenting. Fantastic paper! #aarsbl25

In these cases the ones where the presenters used PowerPoints and I think that was coincidental. A PowerPoint of course doesn't make for a good presentation. But, in my experience, there are exceptionally few people who can give a good and engaging presentation without any visual support.
