Bit of all of the above — fossil bias, inertia, and good old-fashioned incompetence. Their “reference case” should come with a disclaimer: for entertainment purposes only :)

Indeed, funny how that works hey :)

Fair enough, it’s your prerogative. Personally I see it as just another tool.

Spot on — 70% cheaper to run is a game-changer. 💸 Once fleet operators see the math, the switch won’t be about if but when. Every kilometre saves cash, cuts noise, and slashes emissions. Diesel’s had a good run — now it’s getting lapped by electrons.

Exactly! ⚡ The writing’s on the wall — when a 36-tonne rig can out-haul diesel on one charge, Big Oil’s days are numbered. Australia’s finally breaking free from the pump and plugging straight into the sun. ☀️🚛 The road to energy independence just got a lot quieter — and cleaner.

Too right it is, mate — serious bit of gear! 💪⚡ Quiet, fast, no gears to grind, no smoke to choke on, and it’s already outpacing diesel on cost and time. The diesel era’s coughing its last fumes while this thing just hums past.

Spot on question — it’s a full electric drivetrain, not a diesel-style 13–20-speed box. ⚙️ No clutch, no gears — twin direct-drive motors on the rear axles with instant torque & regen braking. Each motor’s electronically controlled for smooth power & downhill energy recovery.

Exactly! 💯
No gear-hunting, no overheating brakes, no runaway rigs — just instant torque uphill and full regen braking downhill turning momentum into power instead of smoke.
Electric trucks make “climbing lanes” look like relics from the fossil age.

That’s a myth — most data centres use non-potable or seawater for cooling, not drinking water. The volumes are tiny next to farming or industry. Earth’s total water hasn’t changed in 4 billion years — it just keeps cycling. The FUD makes it sound apocalyptic when it’s really not.

I know exactly what you mean — it’s like stepping into a relic of the apocalypse. The smell of regret, the sound of coughing engines, and that film of grime that somehow sticks to your soul. Free air never felt so expensive.
