One of the early Freshman surprises of the season has been this kid Rakim Chaney playing for Valparaiso. 30 PER 12.3 BPM. These are the kinds of unheralded guys you really want and need to eye test to see if they're the real deal. Should be on your radar!

Another pre-Opening Night hot take. Reed Sheppard is going to be great. I had him #2 on my board in that Draft. He’s a way better version of Podz. I think people are going to be shocked how good he actually is. And Houston fans won’t miss FVV at all.

I kind of see Cam Boozer as a Blake Griffin archetype. Without the explosive leaping. More like mid-career Blake. I guess the hope is he shoots it better than Blake. Otherwise the skillset and IQ seems fairly similar to me.
