Holy shit. The United States was not invited to the NATO summit on Ukraine in Paris on March 11.

There’s no other meaning:

The United States was just benched for colluding with the enemy.

Yeah, they even talked about that on that Mormon wives reality show. That show was ridiculous, but it was a good point! You go from thinking sex is completely wrong and evil, to suddenly having to be irresistibly sexy and sex-crazed for your husband.
When you're taught from a very early age that sex is sinful, dirty, and will send you to hell, I have to imagine the wedding night is a horror, particularly for the woman. Virginity is the only worth a woman has in that culture, and now you don't have it anymore. That's a mind-fuck.

@bsky.app Why does the app on my android tablet continue to insist on being used in portrait orientation? Is reactive design and landscape really that hard?

This is true everywhere on the web, in paper media, and elsewhere. If it's not corroborated by multiple independent sources, it's probably bullshit.

It's the sad reality of the state of things. We've been in an epistemological crisis as a society as long as I can remember.
Reminder that just because someone puts the word "breaking" or "reportedly" or "sources:" in front of some random nonsense, it does not make it true. Especially if they are on Twitter, that sewer of lies.

Democrats: Empty libraries, gymnasiums, lecture halls, anywhere. Book the space and dare these pathetic House Republicans to show their faces.

Republicans are too chickenshit to hold town halls. Shocker.

Here’s an idea: Democrats, hold town halls in Republican districts.

Have deleted my instagram account, and I've started the process of downloading 20 years of data from Facebook before I delete THAT profile. Twitter profile is long dead. If I could stand it, I'd cancel Amazon Prime, but it's too dang useful. Someone needs to compete with that bald bastard Bezos.

Choose 20 books that have stayed with you or influenced you. One book per day for 20 days, in no particular order. No explanations, no reviews, just covers.

Judging by reactions on the interwebs, I wonder if there's a jury they could manage to find that would convict this guy if they do actually catch him.

What's it called when an insurance company denies life-saving treatment and the patient dies.

Not murder? Just business?

Got it. 👍

CHOICE is key to becoming a reader. When kids are given a wide range of books to choose from, and are allowed to choose freely - THEY READ! I don’t believe in “reluctant readers” - just readers who haven’t yet found the right books for them. So it’s our job to help them find those books! #literacy
