It wasn’t even close, successfully parrying enough times to perform a counter attack is one of the most satisfying things in the entire game!
And even if you don’t parry the entire combo, parrying at all puts your AP up, allowing you to perform skills.

I also love the distinct square-esc symbol that appears during jump attacks, it looks really cool & I love the way it pops outward as the attack is about to be performed!

The thing that puts jumping above gradient parrying for me is how much more fun it is than gradient attacks are to parry, mainly when the enemy performs a combo.
It’s fun to end a combo with a gradient attack, but it’s better when you have to parry & jump through a combo!

3 & 2 were incredibly close, because gradient parrying is super satisfying when you do one!
You can only gradient parry enemy attacks that make the screen go black/white (gradient attacks), and the gradient counter animations are cool!

But that’s the thing: For others, dodging might be more accessible than parrying. For me, it just encourages me to parry instead.

My least favorite of these 4 abilities is still okay, my Expedition 33 play style just disagrees with it.
I prefer to just parry, sure that window is smaller, but being able to counter is more geared to my play style, but others might dodge quite a bit.
