I'm back y'all! Been a hot minute since I got any wood time...waaah...but got to help my dad with this accent wall. Made from boards from their old fence, and kinda millennial burger shop vibes. How's THAT for #creativereuse ? #woodworking #upcycled #reclaimed

Cabinet doors coming along! Routed and chiseled to set in the handles yesterday, gluing up today, still got momentum on this thing :) #woodworking

A very happy and productive day in the shop! Cut and routed some sick handles for the TV cabinet doors (more to come), and built/shellac'ed a fold-down extension leaf for my work bench. The latter took some tinkering and cussing, but glad it worked out! #woodworking #shopsolutions #smallshop

Oh snap, these TV cabinet doors are glue-up ready! Except for some handles. Also need to build a hinged leaf on my work bench to buy more space and be able to glue these both simultaneously. But this felt great! #woodworking #joinery

Anyone else get THE most pure high when you cut your first good lap joints, or am I just weird? So worth the bucks for a good dado blade. And the few minutes watching this video that changed my wood life, along with all others on this channel... youtu.be/JYpgk69XCdc?... #woodworking #joinery

Not that I celebrate Easter, but for those who do, enjoy...and don't tell the Easter bunny I dug up these babies from the garden patch! #gardening

It's aliiiiive! Another proud rebuild of this fallen-apart windchime for my parents. Might need to make a different pendant to catch more wind, but it'll do for now! #woodworking #rebuilds

Alright alright alRIGHT...it's been a good day because my shop just got a skosh more organized! Also this sanding disc organizer was all scraps on hand, also satisfying on that front :) #woodworking #organization

WIP report! I strung the chimes and need to restring different. Wanna do it right. Today I dimensioned this reclaimed oak... product to be revealed later hehe. Was so worth tuning my little jointer I thought was a POS but the blades were just set wrong and damaged (bought used). Victory in milling!

OK, I owe you folks a progress report lol. My parents asked if I could rebuild a windchime that disintegrated in the weather, and I am overdue for a sandpaper organizer. So here is where it's all at! More to come. The metal candle holder will be the striker for the chime. So yay! #woodworking

These looked so vibrant in the golden hour, I had to make a contribution for all the good #bloomscrolling people of the world!

PSA: Always remember to tighten and properly secure your router bit if you don't want an irreparable gouge in an almost-completed project 🤬

Some more throwbacks while I get my current projects finished...Mondrian-esque coasters and a very unconventional coffee table. All thicker than a Snicker, but hey I had only been woodworking two years...the woodworker of Reddit shit all over the table, but what do y'all think? #woodworking

My first crown of broccoli ever! Proud moment for this plant dad #gardening

Chicken Caesar with from-scratch dressing was looking kinda awesome, so why not lol #homecooking

My little shop-built router table complete with sliding fence... Big thanks to James Hamilton and the Stumpy Nubs Journal for the design...and for being my virtual woodworking university for the last few years!

I know everyone and their mother makes cutting boards, but screw it...here are some of mine from over the years!
March 2, 2025 at 8:07 PM
On a mission to get the shop more organized, and just finished this clamp rack made with leftover material from last project! Maybe someday it'll look in there like I have my shit together lol. Didn't plan for more clamps though, oops! #woodworking #organization

I dismantled an old, rotting patio table from my aunt's country place, measured each board, and built this new copy last summer! Mostly 2×4's from a construction dumpster to boot. Spar urethane finish is still holding up well #woodworking #patiofurniture

Biggest project of last year was this entertainment cabinet, kinda mid-century style, outside lined with eastern red cedar. I'll confess I didn't turn the legs nor make the cleats that mount them to the cabinet...sue me lol. Slatted doors will be phase 2! #woodworking #furniture

Hello, Blue Sky! First post ever so hooray....also my first commissioned woodwork project after a few years in the craft. My chiropractor asked if I could replace the old beat-up pull-out cutting board from his kitchen cabinets. I said sure! Reclaimed white oak handle, white oak plywood #woodwork
