This is pretty low on the list of reasons to come work with us, but it's at least on the list! Check out our jobs in fertilizer, cement, clean energy, and more. www.industriouslabs.org

Hey it’s a heat pump.

It's certainly not a perfect vision, but there's a lot to like too. That Hyundai is trying to build a green steel mill in the US at a moment when other companies are backing away and political headwinds are growing suggests a strong internal business case.

I wonder how many times the app for my ear plugs (which, silly me, do not block sound on a plane) has been downloaded.

US abdication of leadership doesn't mean we can't make progress.

Shameful stuff. Telling Trump to get troops out of our city is the absolute minimum required in this moment. Slashing health care for immigrants only further strains some of the most at-risk members of our community. We gotta set our ambition higher than the basement! www.latimes.com/opinion/stor...

We had a great time talking about decarbonizing manufacturing with Bellwether Coffee and reps from CARB, CEC, CPUC, the legislature, and BAAQMD on Monday. Coffee may be a small part of our manufacturing base, but it's definitely one that many of us interact with every day.

A little timeline cleanse from the past several days off the grid.

Good to get away for a bit with the pup.

Great work LA!

Look at all these manufacturing investments, circling the drain thanks to the Trump Administration.

Timeline cleanser on an otherwise terrible news day. It’s nice to have a great office mate.

It's past time to start using all that excess clean energy to heat some rocks in a box and start displacing gas in industrial uses.

More jobs disappearing, to say nothing of the other very significant benefits of clean energy.

Nice campaign briefing tonight for grassroots activists, led by @earthjustice.bsky.social @sierraclub.org, and @industriouslabs.bsky.social, talking about cleaning up industry in California tonight.

Good analysis from @aceeedc.bsky.social on industrial heat pump adoption. Lots of work to do, but just replacing industrial boilers upon die-out gets you ~60% turnover to IHPs by 2050. States can get to work moving policies that nudge that number up closer to 100%. www.aceee.org/sites/defaul...

There were more than 100 community members and others there today testifying in support of these regulations.
