There are so many layers of irony when it comes to the way Eva treats Natsuhi too. Natsuhi’s family was actually of a higher ranking than the Ushiromiya’s before Kinzo purposefully destroyed their reputation and blackmailed them into forcing Natsuhi to marry Krauss at a young age as a "trophy."

I feel like it’s pretty obvious Eva projects the same kind of misogyny that’s been thrown at her by Kinzo and Krauss at Natsuhi (as well as other women too.) It’s a defense mechanism. It’s also something we see her feel remorseful about even in Episode 1.

Their animosity is very much a product of the misogynistic circumstances they’re in. Eva can’t go after her brother or the systemic misogyny. So she gets back at the next best person, Natsuhi, his wife who’s a lower rank than her. It’s redirected/displaced aggression.

i hate going grocery shopping, but the weather is supposed to get nasty this week & i dont wanna drive any more than i have to in that kind of weather. so i Have to tonight. sick of being in the midwest sometimes (most of the time) 😭

bc its an algorithm guessing where to put pixels it tends to make things both disappear and blend together. not a tell on its own but the way the hair matches the both in angle & color is suspicious in the context of this. you can tell the AI 'forgot' how the hair was supposed to go in these too

I'm still mad about this and I just wanna add these two pics for anyone on the fence. same pose, different rendering & AI mistakes like peaches hair on the right just disappears? and the bows are melting together

sorry I'm bad at explaining, I kinda mean the the circled blue part & the belly button together makes me suspect they're trying to apply shadows that shouldn't be there (something AI does where it renders muscles through clothes) it should follow the red lines from the clothing folds but it's not

after looking there's a lot of lines / shading that don't rly look like they make sense unless tracing something underneath.... also in one piece where the hair follows the same line as the sash which could just be a coincidence but is a thing that AI tends to mess up. linework also inconsistent ☹️
