It's funny though that while they acknowledge the change in her facial features between original and over-painted version, they don't mention the very clear 'boob job' because...sensibilities I guess. It's very obvious though. Restored version on the left:

This goes right to the bones of it, and yes I do think it operates like religion. While their actions now are focused on short-term profit, the people at the top are very focused on survival, legacy and - in some cases - immortality. They want to use all our money to create their personal futures

I watched Primer (2004) two nights ago and as far as time-loop stories go this one is on par with Dark in terms of sheer mindfuckery.
Recommended only if you enjoy puzzle box movies because exactly nothing gets explained

I remember seeing it for the first time and getting that butterfly-in-the-stomach feeling when you fall in love. This picture does not do it justice at all: the colors are absolutely out of this world when you see it in person.

so I did watch Perfect Days the other day and it's a gorgeous film. from a narrative perspective not much happens, and yet the attention to the details of everyday actions made it instantly fascinating and heartfelt to me. strangely soothing even
