Today marks the end of WWII in Indonesia. During the memorial tonight, I will observe two minutes of silence for my ancestors, and for all those others who spent the war in Japanese internment camps.

The EDPB release the Helsinki Statement on enhanced clarity, support and engagement following a meeting earlier this week. The goal is to make live for data controllers easier, including a possible EU-wide breach notification system (!).

The Museum of Art in The Hague has a beautiful exposition on New Paris. The changes in the city in the 1860s, led by Haussmann, but visualised by the impressionists and early photographers. Well worth a visit!
