We'll be swinging by Mars in March before circling back past Earth for a final speed boost out to Jupiter.

Dreaming of Jupiter and Europa on an icy evening. Wishing you Happy Holidays and a successful journey in 2025.

Good luck, Lucy!

We're preparing for our own gravity assist flybys during our journey to Jupiter. In March, the Europa Clipper spacecraft will be shooting past Mars, then Earth in 2026. Why? It's all about picking up speed! 1/2

If you zoom in, the tiny "stars" lined up by bright Jupiter are some of its largest moons. In this shot, the one just below and to the left is Europa!

At last report, the Europa Clipper spacecraft is power positive, thermally stable, dynamically stable, and traveling at astonishing speed. And so are you – don't let anyone tell you different! You got this. #MondayMotivation

That very bright "star" in the eastern sky after sunset? It's actually the planet Jupiter. With a small telescope, binoculars, or a zoom lens, you can sometimes even see Europa! When this photo was taken yesterday, Europa could be seen as the dot to the upper right of Jupiter.

This story is really beginning to unfold: While zooming through space at 22 miles per second (35 kilometers per second), our spacecraft has deployed its solar arrays, magnetometer boom, and now the antennas for its ice-penetrating radar instrument https://t.co/s4x0eJs0JS https://t.co/WDHkVp9pZP

It's always a good idea to listen to Coach Beard. Teamwork. Belief. Curiosity. Kindness. They can take us a long way. All the way to the moons of Jupiter!

Europa is about the same size as Earth's moon – yet evidence suggests that, beneath its surface, it has more water than all Earth's oceans combined! See why we think this is the case and the implications for life.

It's one of the most intriguing locations for understanding the possibilities of extraterrestrial life. Learn more about why Jupiter's moon Europa fascinates scientists and explorers: https://t.co/OaE5OEQhih https://t.co/qjGwkPx5r0
