We'll be swinging by Mars in March before circling back past Earth for a final speed boost out to Jupiter.

Dreaming of Jupiter and Europa on an icy evening. Wishing you Happy Holidays and a successful journey in 2025.

Good luck, Lucy!

We're preparing for our own gravity assist flybys during our journey to Jupiter. In March, the Europa Clipper spacecraft will be shooting past Mars, then Earth in 2026. Why? It's all about picking up speed! 1/2

If you zoom in, the tiny "stars" lined up by bright Jupiter are some of its largest moons. In this shot, the one just below and to the left is Europa!

On our way to Jupiter, getting ready to begin uncovering the secrets of its ocean moon Europa. Next up: a gravity-assist flyby of Mars in March. https://t.co/KX1yfEbQD2 https://t.co/p7fA413MAi

At last report, the Europa Clipper spacecraft is power positive, thermally stable, dynamically stable, and traveling at astonishing speed. And so are you – don't let anyone tell you different! You got this. #MondayMotivation

That very bright "star" in the eastern sky after sunset? It's actually the planet Jupiter. With a small telescope, binoculars, or a zoom lens, you can sometimes even see Europa! When this photo was taken yesterday, Europa could be seen as the dot to the upper right of Jupiter.

Our mission will get even closer - with closest-approach altitudes as low as 16 miles (25 kilometers) above the surface! https://t.co/W1qt9CeEbF

This story is really beginning to unfold: While zooming through space at 22 miles per second (35 kilometers per second), our spacecraft has deployed its solar arrays, magnetometer boom, and now the antennas for its ice-penetrating radar instrument https://t.co/s4x0eJs0JS https://t.co/WDHkVp9pZP

Time flies, and so do we! One month ago, we set out for Jupiter and its ocean moon, Europa. The spacecraft is now 10.2 million miles (16.5 million kilometers) from Earth. Instrument deployments are proceeding well, and the Mars flyby happens in March https://t.co/bLV02yqQdH https://t.co/yBgVaySOAF

Picture perfect: We issued the Europa Clipper Art Challenge, and wow did kids rise to meet it! See selected entries that answered the question, What do you think you might find in the vast ocean underneath Europa's icy surface? https://t.co/uarGk4LPWv https://t.co/4ekda0L15Y

1.8 billion miles. With gravity assists from Earth and Mars, that’s roughly how far Europa Clipper will travel before reaching Jupiter’s orbit. Learn how we use radio waves and @NASASCaN’s Deep Space Network to determine where spacecraft are in the solar system.
