Never mind, there are apparently several translations, with a newest one this year. So. Now what. This was my evening activity for the next year and a half
I've been translating 0.25% of a book per day for the past few days.
On one hand, this is an important piece of classic russian literature, which has no english language translations, so by doing this I'm kinda furthering the science.
On the other, this old dead guy is really getting on my nerves

Also, "ye" in "ye olde" being mispronounced as /ji:/ when it's literally just "the"
