Today is National PTSD Awareness Day, so here's a haunting song about the lifelong nightmare that so many bring home with them. I only have a second-hand understanding of what it's like to live with PTSD, so I can't even begin to appreciate the internal battle some vets are still fighting.

Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart were together (in a band called, The Tourists, and in the other way, too) from 1976 to 1980. The band and the couple broke up, but, fortunately for us, Annie and Dave continued to work together and make great pop music for another 20 years as Eurythmics.

Los Lobos would make a good soundtrack for those old Max Fleischer cartoons (Betty Boop, early Popeye) where everything moved. As a car bounced along on rubbery tires, background objects breathed and pulsed to the same rhythm. This music sounds like that.

Someone please tell Trump and MAGA that a "witch hunt" is when there is a perceived, wide-spread problem (for example, witches), and, in a fit of panic and paranoia, every suspicious person is scrutinized. The DOJ was investigating Trump for specific crimes. That is not a "witch hunt," you dumbfuck.
