If the rule of law doesn't apply uniformly then it doesn't exist. Even the most horrific murderer, even a seditionist is entitled to its protections. Maybe there is no "moral" right to its protection, but the protection just be there nonetheless.
It's obvious to me that Stephen Miller is actually in charge. He lies to Trump playing him old video to get him to sign things safe in the knowledge that Trump will never admit being duped since that would expose his dementia
