ADHD is not a matter of debate, it is not a fuzzy grey area. When you behave like it is, even though you clearly know nothing about it, you are actively stigmatising and victimising people affected by it. It's ok to have no opinion on something you are grotesquely ignorant about, try it sometime.

This is the problem with random newspaper columnists and their reactionary opinions - it gives other random people permission to call into question things they know nothing about, which don't affect them, but do deeply affect other people.

What debate? What's it got to do with you?

Another problem with this column/newsletter is the shallow and arguably disingenuous discussion of using AI chatbots for mental health. Even a passing familiarity with psychology should have anyone wondering about this claim:
