Stopped reading New Scientist when Earths end became unavoidable, hippie-ish (sustainable lifestyle) with a dream of hopefulness. Food and old objects are all about provenance. Car nut, but design rather than performance.
After fizzy milk, fizzy tomato soup and finally fizzy tea, Sodastream looses it's appeal.

The Temeraire took a broadside at the battle of Trafalgar for The Victory, hence its iconic status. Plus its timbers were used in buildings around its "Graving dock"

Oh yeah, but they look better in my minds eye. The Woolwich ferry photo taken at the Greenwich and Docklands festival. The GDSF after many years of campervan (small RV) ownership and enjoying the UK - now 24 years plus.

Possibly the only sunset I'd consider, Great Dorset Steam Fair, 2010. The cider tent (think MASH tents) was legendary as were the hangovers...

Just to let you know, I'd never take credit for someone elses photo. My mind stores images, which comforts me when grim planet scenarios are rife.

I find sunrises the most influential, a day to be formed and enjoyed.

The Monet Houses of Parliament scenes are the closest I Think, big fan. However JWM Turner's "fighting Temeraire" was the most influential painting of my life.

I am a big Turner fan, the British loved him so much, we knocked down his house in Maiden Lane Covent Garden and built a pub... I have been to Dublin in January to see the Turner bequest.

It's Tate Modern, an art gallery in an art deco powerstation, plus my friend is a member, so the members room overlooks St Pauls. Art Deco plus Rococo what's not to like...

Off to Tate Modern soon to say "Yes, but is it Art ?" quite a lot.

When the email lands and you see EVRi, the horror!

Well, he did come from round that way. However, he preferred "The White Hart"

The planet is doomed, it has a pervasive force called greed on it and it's this which will ultimately seal the fate of humans. On the bright side, the insects turn as highest forms of life might work out.

The biggest difference is that shares aren't put into the pension pot for civil servants, thus dividends from them aren't taxed the same as income, despite it being.... income.

Find Beauty everywhere - The dust motes dancing in the sunlight, the last blooms of the year - stop and look at them carefully and spend time outdoors for at least 20 mins even if it rains. Hope you feel better soon.

Yeah, decided that pointing out the next largest UK earthwork after Iron age monument Silbury Hill (2300bc) is the Chirk Bank (1801) is niche, so cancelled that one.

Overdone the pasty...

Great bit of Pargetting too, a tradition that seems to have endured even on modern builds up there.

And have a series of apalling owners who tried to destroy the ethos of the club. Our current manager seems to have brought some of it back and both team and fans responded to it

As a Charlton fan, I feel your pain
