having ep 3 of DDBA be a tightly written and amazingly acted courtroom story followed by, somehow, a more comedic episode 4 with punchy dialogue and actually really funny gags surprised me in a great way

in the last 4 days of the panto tour is decided to throw in as many sonic references as I could without it being weird and noticeable and I had a big list of lines I tinkered with

now that the tour is done at least 25% of the boys who weren't paying attention suddenly lock in whenever I did it
I hit the griddy during my villain song in my panto tour and no joke the kids who weren't as into the show immediately jumped like and started screaming
