Academic me: it’s deeply troubling to see animal misinformation go under the radar, people see ostensibly ‘cute’ videos and ignore the irresponsible and misleading nature of the video.

@ethanshattock.bsky.social notes that the recently approved code of conduct on disinformation matters because it codifies this as a systemic risk under the DSA. He does worry, however, about insufficient references to freedom of expression protections
