I was impressed/disappointed that none of the signs nor transportation announcements were bilingual. If you ride a train in Germany or Japan, you get signs and announcements in English, and half there population is native English!

If he's going back a language, why not go all the way back to the Greek that the Romans got it from and pluralize it as octopodes? In my book, "octopuses" is preferable.

I didn't even think of switching to Ubuntu, since I'm also dealing with Windows 10 end of life. I don't know if Ubuntu would work for the projects I want to do, though.
