OKC has won 12 of 13 games by dominating two-way shooting, specifically inside the arc, and two-way turnovers.

OKC’s turnover differential has regressed from No. 1 in the NBA to No. 1 in the NBA. Its 11.8% offense TOV% only trails BOS and its 17.1% defense TOV% only trails CLE.

Last season’s title team won 68 games through single-big turnover creation, a tried and true formula after rookie Holmgren played every game.

Leaning into double-big, especially when Shai Gilgeous-Alexander sits down, has made OKC even more threatening this year.

Through 13 games, Chet Holmgren and Isaiah Hartenstein have shared over half as many regular-season minutes this season (184) as last season (316).

So far, that pair has stifled opponents in all three important defensive categories – including rebounding, a recent team weakness.

Jokic leads the NBA in rebounds AND assists per game while being its most efficient volume scorer by far. Hard to imagine even a video game character recreating this production.
