Wow. Just…wow. Couldn’t put it down. Needed tissues. Feel like I’m hungover, but in a good way. Every second of this book was visceral. And nostalgic. And enlightening.

I’m a little depressed knowing it’s over and the next read likely won’t be as impactful. Sigh.

First visit to the water near my house. I picked an unseasonably cold and windy day, but it was perfect for reading and car sitting with a coffee.

Scoping out the flowers at @traderjoesunited.bsky.social and found these artificial white roses. I don’t know what this material is, but they are much nicer than your typical craft store fake flowers.

I managed to obtain a yummy loaf of authentic Portuguese Easter sweet bread made by an authentic Portuguese elder lady and it made my weekend. Since my granny passed, it’s the one thing I miss the most on the holidays and the bakery versions just are not the same. Such a TREAT!

My reaction to this new interface change on Insta. Even more reason to completely abandon it.

Working on projects. Eating brownies. Trying to meet the card’s unrealistic food demands. This has been my Friday night.

I cannot express how much RISD loves being the birthplace of the Talking Heads. They would play it as we entered the auditorium for our Western Art & Architecture class during Freshman year in case any of us was unaware of this fact.

It is pretty cool though. :)
